Is there no way that we can take this to court or Cartè Blanche ? This is so annoying!! I have been called for the 100th time today offering me the 42" Plasma and R75 000 home make over etc. They say that they have on record that I stay not to far from the Kyalami area. Were the hell do they get that from. I stay in George, and I have never stayed in JHB before. Is this not some sort of invasion of privacy? I have never filled in any sort of pamphlet or competition, so how did they get my name and number? Brands need to engage in some sort of search for insights into the consumers that they want to reach, because not all black people went to school in the North or South of Joburg. Does the fact that brands refuse to speak the language of consumers still marginalise some people like the previous government? Of course it does, if you refuse to learn someone's language, you are effectively rejecting them, a big mistake on the part of most brands.Posted on 23 Nov 2009 11:07
