Good news from FIFA: not only have two million tickets been sold to date, a recent poll reveals that South Africans are ‘overwhelmingly positive' about hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup. 
FIFA has agreed to create a new participating member associations (PMAs) sales phase between 9 February and 7 April 2010, it announced on Friday, 15 January 2010. Only one such phase had previously been planned, which closed on 13 January 2010. 
World-leading online experts will be speaking at Africa's first international e-tourism conference next month, giving presentations at the two-day conference, 1 - 2 September 2008, on how southern Africa's tourism sector can harness the potential of the web, especially in the lead up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
