African filmmakers are invited to submit documentaries relating to the theme of the 2010 Africa in Motion (AiM) Film Festival to be considered for inclusion in the October festival at the Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland. The theme of the fifth festival is “Celebrations”. 
Organisers of the inaugural Durban FilmMart are calling for the submission of projects for consideration. The African international film co-production market is hosted by the Durban Film Office (DFO) and Durban International Film Festival (DIFF). The Durban FilmMart will take place in July during the 31st Durban International Film Festival, 22 July - 1 August 2010. 
Hyderabad, India will host EMRC's first Economic Mission Africa-India from Sunday, 28 February to Friday, 5 March 2010. The event will focus on agricultural equipment and research, soil and water conservation and management, biofuels, post harvest management, knowledge parks and seed value chain. 
FIFA has agreed to create a new participating member associations (PMAs) sales phase between 9 February and 7 April 2010, it announced on Friday, 15 January 2010. Only one such phase had previously been planned, which closed on 13 January 2010. 
The MTN Ekasi TV sites are screening the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola games live. The first permanent big screen TV went up in Diepsloot in December 2007 and the project now consists of 19 sites across the country.
